Green Resonance
An immersive site-specific performance translating the hidden dynamics of soil, water and natural cycles into sound, space and improvisation.
Green Resonance is a new site-specific performance project by SREČNO exploring the hidden dynamics of soil, water and natural cycles through sound, space and improvisation. Moving between composition and spontaneous interaction, the performance transforms ideas such as microbial activity, flow and resonance into layered sonic structures and immersive atmospheres of subtle green and earth-toned light.
Beginning with almost inaudible subterranean vibrations, the performance gradually unfolds into an intense collective sound field before dissolving back into silence. The audience is invited into a sensory experience that makes the invisible processes beneath our feet tangible and emotionally perceptible.
Green Resonance is initiated and supported by Stichting De Grûn Beweecht / De Grond Beweegt, a growing interdisciplinary movement connecting soil, health, culture and community through art, science and storytelling in Fryslân and beyond.
The project is realized in cooperation with artist and curator Esther Kokmeijer, who previously coordinated the highly successful immersive performances in the former mercury mine in Idrija.
The concept builds on earlier successful immersive performances connected to IPIHAN in a former mercury mine in Idrija, Slovenia, as well as Echoes of Vortex Harmonies with Arcangelo Constantini during the Dutch Design Week at the Van Abbemuseum.
